Well, the monetary system is more or less controlled by central bankers, not all of whom are in these organizations, and certainly not in an informal group like the Bohemian Grove. It is affected, as well, by a number of factors, like fluctuations in commodities prices or speculation in the currency markets. The main goal of central banks is to maintain stability. They raise interest rates if they fear inflationary pressures, lower them if they fear recession. They try not to swing wild. Part of the reason is because they are indirectly subject to politics, insofar as they want to avoid interference, and therefore keep the political establishment relatively happy.......
