long-term this is the last stock I would short Very few stocks make good long-term shorts, only real bankruptcy candidates and scams. Most short plays are closed out within a few hours to a few weeks. Cancer cure announcements are almost always good shorting opportunities; even if this turns out to be the "real thing" (and I have no opinion on that issue), the stock has almost certainly overshot its trend and will consolidate for a period of time before it can move up further. ONXX may go higher before it goes lower, but it almost certainly will go lower. The euphoria of yesterday's announcement will be followed by the reality settling in...that it will likely be years before today's news has any real impact on earnings.
