Hi Sonny,

Hope the new ISP goes well. I've been using Juno when I can't get on the company network. It work ok. Never hurts to have a backup.

The lowest Gas I have seen (of course after I filled the tank) was 1.39. It sure is amazing that the prices have fallen almost $1.00 since their high. And all with no change is supply. <HMMMMM>

I've been watching a little of the convention. I just had to laugh when Hagel or Stenburg was saying that the Neb. Senate race would have a big impact on the senate next year. OH PLEASE Don't flatter yourself. For crying out loud. Kerry is an excellent Senator and It looks like his seat will stay with the dems.

It sure doesn't seem like the Rep's are coming out with anything earth shattering about how they are different that what the democats want. I must admit I like Mrs. Bush (Barbara too) much better than her husband. I think that it's very sad that now the only difference between the parties is apparently their opinion on abortion.

Well INTC is still acting crappy but the whole NAZ was down. LU is definitely a bummer but I'll hold. WCOM is trying to come up a little. We took a big hit the other day. Yes, I'd like to make a trillion in the market too!! Eventually. <GGG>

IBM did pretty decent today. It bizarre to me that they are actually supporting Linux on the mainframe now. They have their own flavor of Unix running on them now anyway. AIX is what I do but not on a main frame. I guess they have to offer it because someone will want to use it.

Now Sonny, You should have sold you AOL then they start sending you free stuff in the mail. <GGG> It's going to be interesting what comes of the Time Warner and AOL marriage. Which/who's children are going to become orphans?? Like I said above, I use Juno. Which is free. I personally don't like AOL, or at least what I have used of it. If I wasn't a techie then it would be great. I want more control over my system that it was letting me have. At least when I was playing around with it.

I was sorry to Hear about President Ford. My first thought was, that's nice even an x-president can't get decent health care. I bet he had the first stroke and they sent him home with a severe sinus infection. I'm sure we've all had those experiences when we get sent home only to find out latter we were very sick.

Well better run.

Take Care

Ann

P.S. I just had to post this to someone on the main thread. Enjoy the joke!!
