IBM is the leader in many areas of computer services and will havea stellar future. A safe strong bet here. Its success should also gradually bring up the rear echelon stocks which have been so badly hammered. UIS, BMCS, CPWR, CA and also NOVL, IFMX etc. The CSC deal today with NT showed how intertwined these services companies are with networkers, telcos, hardware makers, etc. The 2nd half of the year should show pretty strong recovery for the entire computer industry (as least that's the prevailing wisdom) and IBM and all its doggie followers should rise accordingly. Of course you can also say that about a few other sectors. For instance, bought EGRP today at 14 which I think is a good position entry point. They have promised to be profitable by the end of the year. This feels like a bottom to me. LOR beat estimates today. It's still highly undervalued. Disclaimer: I own 'em all except for CA, CSCS and NT.
