When does it get the darkest?

1. Immediately before the dawn

2. Immediately after some one turns off the light at the end of the tunnel

3. Immediately before it gets pitch black

I am not so concerned about the NCB deal, as that deal uses limited amount of 9984 capital. I am happier that the listing of subsidiaries got cancelled, now management must exit the old fashioned way, namely by making 9984 shares worth something. Too bad the 3 for 1 share splitting got done, topping up share count in market place just as people stopped believing. We then got another share split, the hard way, on the order of 8 for 1. We collectively take some lessons and move on, without looking back.

Furukawa Electric moves up massively once again, now at 3400 (first talked about on this thread at 1680), and so does platinum (have SWC puts shorted a week and half ago at January strike $25 for $3.75/share in premium). Closed out on my Philip Morris and Conseco Puts, leaving the underlying shares and the covered calls in place for January expiration.

We are running out of safe names to speculate on.
