Don,

Looking at the SP Futures daily chart on quote.com, I notice that after Friday's big black candle, now we have three relatively small bodied white candles with relatively long upper shadows.

This caught my eye, and I referred to Morris' Candlestick Charting Explained. We could be setting up here for Falling Three Methods (a continuation pattern of the downtrend), as the white bodied candles all fall within the long black candlestick body. Tomorrow would have to be a selling day for that to be in effect.

The three white candles with relatively long shadows is also described as a pattern which appears at the end of an uptrend (a reversal pattern) which is not in play here, as these candles follow a downtrend from 7/17 high, but nonetheless, I cannot help but wonder about the significance of three straight days where the SP futures closed up for the day but enough off the highs to leave somewhat of a shadow.
