Gary,

My recently purchased, but already outdated Epson PhotoStylus 750 does a great job on the inket quality heavyweight matte paper. I buy 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. I also buy the pre-cut 4 x 6 photo quality paper in 20 sheet lots. I find buy.com to be a reasonable source for bulk ordering consumables. The 5 color inkjet cartridge for my printer is less than $10 and prints about 40 or 60 4 x 6 photos.

If you aren't in the market for a new printer try this...

I also just opened an account at www.photoaccess.com where you can get your first 50 (fitty) 4 x 6 prints for free. Nearly all the web-based photo developers have similar offers. The site has a software program you can download called "photostreamer" that allows you to upload a whole album en masse. That is a great feature.

I should have my first prints tomorrow.
