actual 99 =.53 per share; est.00=1.21 (+105%) est.01=1.60 (+32%) therefore...*we believe that ...represents a good entry point for longer-term investors...* Earlier, they commented *"we believe the company is offering conservative revenue guidance." and the company believes that revenues from communications segments will grow at 65%+ y/y and will become over 50% of revenues by the end of Q3. Yet...*"we are maintaining our 2000 and 2001 revenue and EBG estimates."*
What is wrong with this picture? LSI is ramping up production capacity faster than planned in order to produce the same revenues? How then will shareholders receive a return on the acceleration of investment? This looks more like "I have to publish an update and the stock is way down and my good clients haven't bought their fill yet, so Lord knows I can't upgrade rating or estimates." (till later)
