I wish I knew. All their charts have it (most have 200 day moving average also). It just says "relative strength vs S&P 500".

I would think it is (in effect) a fraction, with the RS of the company 'over' the RS of the S&P 500. A trend indicator.

If it is good enough for IBD...

I was looking for an indicator, oscillator, that gets me out of the trade w/ no if, ands, or buts. Right now I use a long term stochnastic indicator. Always think there is better one.
