Matsushita Says "Dolphin" Hardware Completed
Matsushita, one of Nintendo's partners in the project, says the next-gen console's hardware has been completed.

Japanese electronics company Matsushita has revealed that the "Dolphin" hardware has been completed. Although the hardware has not yet gone into mass production, the technical aspects of the hardware itself have been finalized, according to the company.

Matsushita is developing and manufacturing the proprietary DVD drive for incorporation into the next-gen console. Expect to hear more details on the "Dolphin" hardware soon, as it is expected that Nintendo will unveil the console at its Space World event later this month.
