I think that OEMs could not figure out how to position the Duron in their product lines. It looks like they are waiting until availability of DDR motherboards and memory so that they can offer Athlon with DDR, and Duron with classic SDRAM.

I doubt that AMD will hit their 3.6 million Duron and Athlon target this quarter. If they do, AMD management should gain a lot of trust. If not, ...
