Dave, < Well MAYBE this is the direction that they should be giving the street. From someone not that closely tied to the sector, they would not have made this deduction. It most certainly would have helped share price over the last couple of weeks.> If AMD shifted its CPU mix more towards high end, do you think it would have been prudent for AMD to divulge this info? This is like AMD again becoming a single segment player(different segment this time) at least for this quarter. Any release of this info early on would have generated counter measures from INTC to keep AMDs profits low. But now, with 1.13GHz PIII release, Intel may be helping AMD inadvertently. Goutama
