(NASDAQ:ELEC) announced today that it has been granted CLEC certification by the Public Utilities Commission of Colorado. eLEC will now begin the deployment of its unbundled network elements platform (UNE-P) network in Colorado so that it can bring its affordable local telephone services to Colorado's business and residential customers. The Company also announced that it has also been certified to provide long distance services to the public in California.
