Allan, I'm staying away from the SOX right now because I can't tell if it's going up or down. Maybe I should just buy a straddle on the SOB because it ain't sitting still.

I've been tearing through some of the reports coming out and the crap about flash memory is amazing. The spot market prices dropped 30%. That sounds scary, doesn't it? I see some ANALysts citing that stat. What they are failing to tell us is that even with the 30% drop, spot prices are still UP 50% from only 30 days ago. Interesting indeed. My gut tells me the players are covering their shorts and going long, while at the same time convincing the suckers to keep shorting. As soon as their positions are set and the short interest is acceptable, they're going to screw them all and laugh all the way to the bank. How stupid do they think investors are with this spin about Flash prices crashing when they are up 50% from a month ago? The sad thing is most people only read the headlines and don't do any digging, those people are getting set up to be screwed big time.
