I was referring to today's action, and it certainly hasn't been off 30%, not even at the low.

But if you want to talk about year-to-date:

The S&P bubble will skew the numbers if you judge from the year's high. That, however, could be measured in minutes, or at most hours, and isn't a fair basis for comparison.

Just heard Wu-Fu Chen give the keynote and his bottom line, repeated several times in his summing up, was components. If you want to invest in the optical space, components represent 80% of the cost of systems and with the high barriers to entry and the size of constraints, it's the place to be.
