Dear Paul:

You do not get it. AMD has not released the 1100 MHz Tbird, but Intel has released the 1133 MHz P3. No AMD processor running at spec fails, but Intel, when run with a old software benchmark Prime95, crashes in less than 1 minute. Anand had no problem with the 1000 MHz Tbird at 1000 MHz. The failure at 1100 may be due to the fact that the motherboard does not like Win2000 at a 220 MHz FSB. When the multiplier is changed (to 11.5), HOCP (the same Kyle whose 1133 P3 could not run Prime95) ran stable at a 200 MHz FSB (1150 MHz).

Pete
