Dwight, we disagree with you in regards to G market always being a niche market, although the niche market may be huge.

Our take on why it may not be a niche product is simply based on price. If the phone price drops anywhere near the price of regular upscale phone, say to about $300, we believe the upscale consumer will opt for/demand this as a regular feature, whether they need it or not. MOU use will be less but number of subscribers will skyrocket. Maybe G and telcos would prefer not to go this way and focus on high MOU users instead.

I know the people we have surveyed all would like to have the satellite feature, price of the phone being near equal.

What's your take on this notion?

regards,

bt
