TP, You paint the religious "right" with far more power than they want, and far more than they will ever receive. Actually, what is wrong with the religious right?? Just because one believes thoroughly in God, Jesus Christ, and the Bible, makes them religious. If they believe in conservatism, they are on the right, where politics are concerned. Those kind of people are not the ones that bomb abortion clinics, or berate people on street corners. They don't want control of government but, they do want to be treated fairly, as any group does. Today, they are not being treated fairly. They are not even allowed to worship a "silent" prayer at a public function, but an aetheist can spew his evolution theories, and hatred for Christians, any where, at any time he wants to. Is that fair?? A homosexual can parade down the middle of the street, half naked, pawing a member of his/her own sex, and make lewd comments with complete freedom but, a group of Christians cannot gather together in a public place to say a simple prayer, without being berated, or arrested. Do you call that fair?? If you do, you are worse scum than I originally thought.
