Semicon, My question concerned the same piece of software on different speed grades. If the processor is functionally correct, the speed grade is irrelevant for the behavior of the software. If it works at 500MHz, it will also work at 1.1GHz (as long as the CPU is functionally correct.) The one exception to this is brain-dead Microsoft OS software which uses timing loops. Scumbria
