Neo, I feel a lot better about things after the convention, and with the strength of Bush's speech. There, actually, were very few negative comments by him, and there were so many that he could have made. He did poke some fun at gore, but who doesn't?? Maybe I'm too optimistic, but it appeared that some of the press, like Brokaw, were not nearly as one sided as they once were. Maybe they can see the handwriting on the wall, and will get on the band wagon.

The smear team is going to pull out all the stops against GW but, gore carries so much baggage with him, I don't think it will work this time. Especially since Bush is ready for them to try.
