Mark, OK! Our roots are pretty close. Just about 30 years apart. I started off in Houston, moved to Brenham in 55, and back to the Houston area in 97. I refuse to live anywhere inside, or near the loop. It is not the same place I once knew down there. Even though I live in the NW part of Harris County, just outside the city limits, the urban sprawl is beginning to make me uncomfortable.
Since we have both graduated, and can be at peace with each other, I will tell you that I am an Aggie. Therefore, you can expect straight talk, with no frills, from me, but I try to be fair. I will sometimes be a bit rough on those that say they are from Texas but, are really just those immigrants from Michigan, or other such polluted places.
I respect women that are intelligent, and have their own opinions, but sometimes they are hard to find that are not arrogant. It's like they are trying too hard to display some testosterone.
I agree with your right to speak your piece, and tell a rude person to back off. I've done it myself, and will do it again, in no uncertain terms. I can be aggravating, but only get rude if treated that way by another.
