On the local level, religious control of the government functions leads to silly things, pulling books from the library, and closing of adult bookstores. Sometimes they make tortured rules like not selling alcohol in clubs where dancing is going on in an attempt to get rid of both dancing and drinking. I had to see what may be attempted on a national level, it would start with the obvious rulings eliminating abortion but would likely turn to the silly soon enough.
