Re. fundamentals, I seriously question whether they are ok. If I look at Q1 and projections for Q2 and assume Q4 is about equal to Q4 of last year, then company does a little better than breakeven, but far less than analyst projections. Also gasoline price has big impact on disposable spending of Ames customers. Finally company has a load of debt and if one subtracts intangibles and tax credits then adjusted book value is about equal to current price.

I have company on my radar screen, but I have been burnt in the past by such "values". I will therefore wait until I see heavy insider buying to pull the trigger. I think there is 80% chance of yearly earnings coming in well below forecast.
