Stribe, New Company Pre-Announces 1 THZ PRocessor!!!! I'm concerned about the clock skew at 1THz. Given a 1ps cycle time, a reasonable clock skew would be 0.25ps. This would require the clock to be distributed at faster than the speed of light around the chip. I've heard rumors that Rambus has a broad patent on all programmable registers which control the transport of energy, so the THz CPU industry will have to travel backwards and pay royalties retroactively back to the beginning of time. This will bring the former price of RMBS from last year up to $1 Terradollar. Scumbria
