Innuit, I have no intention of raining on the parade, but . . . After the financial debacle CTXS shareholders [of whom I am unfortunately one] have been through, even a Forbes article is welcome. {Forbes IMO is not the sharpest tool in the shed for technology reporting}
I will simply state that CTXS has very good stuff, and should be squarely in the middle of the sweet spot of computing's fast growth evolution toward thin client, ASP, all that jazz. But this management team is guilty until proven innocent. I don't think there's much more price downside from here, but upside is dependent on management, management, management. I personally don't give a fig about reading new whiz bang tech PR releases from Citrix--I want to see who they get to run the company and run the sales force and run the finances. There is no technology so great that bad management can't screw it up--that is the indelible lesson I have learned from this financial shellacking. I'd rather own a company that manufactures toilets (but that has great management) than one that has the patent on the latest fiber optic doo-hickey but that has the CTXS management 'team'. Throw the bums out and bring in a new squad--where are you Board of Directors? Mike Doyle
