All: I just discovered the ETrade securities problems thread and now I'm shocked a bit about the bad experiences many investors have made with that broker. What should I do? I've just sent a cheque and a signed account application form to Etrade this Monday but they don't have my money yet...I could still stop everything. Can anybody say something about them? If they are really so unreliable, I would have practically no chance to do anything against it, especially here from Europe. But I urgently need a broker to trade options through the internet at low commissions & ... just the way they describe themselves. Can somebody give me a hint?
