I hadn't seen that yet.

Last night on RPM2night, the guy from Simpson racing products had a prototype foam block with heavy foam that was encased in ballistic nylon.

I hear one of the reasons they don't want to use foam blocks is that they explode and take forever to clean up.

Anyhow, this nylon covering keeps everything contained.

I'd bet next year there will be something in place on certain tracks.

The Simpson guy also had a prototype head restraint much cheaper than the HANS(?) system.

I sure hope Jeremy isn't bunged up too bad.
