One mistake
It and similar episodes have been repeated whenever a fringe group gets power. Actually I chose Austin because it was a liberal city, at least it was 20 years ago. Then all sorts of people moved in because the place was so great, only they wanted to make it a little more like Houston, or New York, or Duluth or wherever. It's much less great now but it's harder to move when you have family and property and friends.
