Dear Tony:

What about FCPGA cracking in P3s and Celeron IIs? They just crack without anything being done to them. The idiots place socket 370 coolers onto socket 462 CPUs and expect them to work. Even Ford recommends that you do not use a radiator for a 1.8 liter OHV four on a 7.5 liter turbo diesel. The turbo diesel is fragile and the block will crack due to overheating. Intel has the same problem with using a PPGA cooler with their FCPGA CPUs (it breaks them too).

There will always be the need to look out for ignorant people. Classic (actually sued in court no less) case: "The Overhead Fan Manufacturers do not have a label warning parents not to toss their babies into the fan while in operation" (Any parent that needs to be told the above should never, ever, have any children).

Pete
