They are in a segment of the industry with about fifteen others, all pretty much in startup mode with ORB technology. There is only room for a handful of survivors - maybe three or four at most. If they were to make no. 1 in this space, they should become a very attractive company indeed. 3. >>other input<< IMO the key to success in this type of market is very simple: market share, early. This translates into mindshare, which will be important during the shakeout, and also of course greater revenue opportunities down the track. VSGN seem to be following this track, with their concentration on license deals with majors (NSCP, ORCL etc). david
