And what I like so much is it is unembarrassingly, unashamingly a conservative party. Conservative ideals are taking root and growing like a huge redwood. It's social security the conservative way, education the conservative way, taxes the conservative way, and yes, values and decency the conservative way. Four years ago on these very threads the mention of the words "voucher" and "charter schools" would have brought forth a cacaphony of vitriolic words like "radical" "far right" "dangereous". Yet now, the words roll through the public domain like peaceful waves accepted as the logical next step. Finally, the internet has freed our senses into hearing the voices of the people. And it's sweeping so many into the conservative fold. It was always "compassionate conservative" ideals which provided new and creative solutions to the woes of our great nation. Now those ideas have a new spokesperson who understands how to communicate them to the unwashed masses. Do the mainstream media realize how irrelevant they are about to become in the next two decades? I seriously doubt it. Michael
