Unfortunately, I just missed the last day of $399 - now it goes up to $499...

I wish they'd get modern and accept e-mailed registrations! Who the hell has a FAX machine at home any more? We have them at the office, but I've been out sick this week. I USED to have an Internet FAX service, and I could have downloaded the Microsoft Word version, filled it out, and FAXed it via the Internet. But I realized that I was paying $10/month for a service I NEVER use. I'm a consultant, and used to FAX tons of resumes. Now they all go by e-mail. Who doesn't have e-mail?

So, anyway, while contemplating going out to a Mail Boxes Etc. to Fax them the form, I came across the admonition to register early, because "sessions WILL fill-up". Silly me, I figured they'd take all the registrations, and then juggle conference rooms as needed to give each session an approprite venue for as many as signed-up for it.

Between the prospect of not being able to attend sessions that I wanted to attend, the potential of not being able to get a room, and having to venture out and find a FAX machine, I decided to forgo the conference. Maybe next year, when I have the sense to register early.

When and where is the next one? Hell, it's deductable...

(Um... I guess if I can find a FREE Internet Fax service, technically I have until Midnight to register...)
