Having read a version of your story from the Wall St J,
I never guessed there could be two of us so much alike.
And I even met you many moons ago on the Dell thread.
Those were the good old days, eh what(hehe)
This year I have given back as much as 600k of "their" money which could give me a marvelous tax return next April
and enough for me to live on for the rest of my life.
One difference is that I use a lot less margin now,
preferring zero in these trying times. In which case I can, like Greg, even enjoy a down market day which permits me to buy some stock on the cheap.Shouting "take er on down",
until its hits my GTC buy order at $20 less than the market Ye Hawwwwww.
I also enjoy the idea that I can, like Donnie, call a broker and say Ahhhhhh ,-- buy me 5000 shares of Dell and 1000 of this or that. I am not going to do that ( although I can't speak for Donnie)- since I don't operate that way,
but its really nice to know we can-sometime.
I better send you a PM, we could discuss various wins and losses(G)
