Inflation was a no-show in June for the second month in a row, the first time that has happened in 13 years, the Labor Department reported yesterday.

Coming after an inflation scare sparked by a sharp rise in the Consumer Price Index in April, the report eased concerns that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates again this summer. Some analysts speculated that the central bank will refrain from action for the rest of the year.
