There is an article about Value Line in the new issue of Money Magazine (September, 2000). If you don't subscribe, it's probably available at most newsstands by now.

The article is not flattering and is somewhat critical, but I think it's fair and honest criticism. What stands out most for me is the decided lack of future direction for Value Line.

I'm going to give this some thought, and write to them in a constructive manner. I use Value Line very heavily in my investing decisions, and I'd hate to think that they might become an also-ran among analysts because of past mistakes.

The article is pretty good, and I'd recommend you read it.
