CORRECTED-Vulcan Ventures sells shares of two
Web companies

In July 21 WASHINGTON story headlined ``Vulcan Ventures sells shares of two Web
companies,'' please read in the second paragraph...Vulcan Ventures Inc....instead
of...Vulcan Ventures Inc. (Vancouver:VVC.V - news)..., deleting the ticker symbol as
company is not publicly traded.

A corrected version follows.

WASHINGTON, July 21 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen's investment vehicle filed with regulators to sell
shares of InterNAP Network Services Corp. (NasdaqNM:INAP - news) and Net Perceptions Inc. (NasdaqNM:NETP -
news) valued at a total of $1.8 million.

Vulcan Ventures Inc. plans to sell 32,500 shares of common stock of Net Perceptions, according to Securities and Exchange
Commission filings, which were made on July 14 and released by the SEC on Thursday.

Net Perceptions's technology predicts individuals' preferences for consumer products and then makes specific
recommendations with targeted banner ads and content.

The shares are valued at $570,823, according to the filing.

The Bellevue, Wash.-based investment company also plans to sell 25,000 shares of InterNAP Network's common stock,
worth $1,221,827. Seattle-based InterNAP provides fast Internet connections.

In the past three months, Vulcan Ventures has not sold shares in either company, the filings showed. The shares may be sold
within 90 days of the filings, which did not specify a date for the sales.

A Vulcan Ventures spokeswoman did not know if the shares had been sold yet.

``We will periodically sell some shares of different companies of our portfolio for diversification,'' the spokeswoman said.

Shares of Net Perceptions was down 1-6/16 to 15-13/16 on Nasdaq. They have a 52-week high of 66-8/16 and a low of
9-12/16.

Shares of InterNAP Network also was down 5/16 to 49-3/16 on Nasdaq. They have a 52-week high of 111 and low of
19-8/16.
