Cha2,

I don't think Johnson covers wireless. His firm has an analyst division that covers wireless and telecommunications. My understanding of broadband does include fiber, copper, cable, wireless and satellite. Within those areas, there are plenty of opportunities for investment and as we know - some are more compelling for gorilla games than others. I wouldn't chastise Johnson's article/interview. However, I would suggest a glance at what he covers and doesn't cover. You can find that at the next generation networks site.

We all know that one of the 'guru' sources that everyone bows to is George Gilder for many matters wireless. To tell you the truth, I have a subscription to his newsletter but rarely find myself getting beyond a glance at the first page. Wireless remains a high profile portion of broadband. All data will not be moving solely through wireless. It will require a combination of fiber, copper, cable, wireless and satellite. Johnson just happens to cover a portion of the entire segment, but an important portion involving a lot of compelling areas for gorilla game investing.
