All the IS-95 channels are covered by CDMA2000, either in Common control channels or in the dedicate channels.

Strange. The way it was explained to me 1xRTT supported all the IS-95B channels, but 3xRTT didn't. Maybe I'll check on it.

HDR is using TDM, not TDMA on the forward link. It used time divisioned scheduling as for who will get the data.

Time division scheduling to determine who will get the data is TDMA. That's pretty much the definition of TDMA.

As far as compatibility, yes, HDR doesn't need to be compatible with CDMA2000 any more than GPRS has to be compatible with W-CDMA.
