Dennis -- HHMMmmm - you have 3 years,, Well I'll be 55 in May of 2003 and will leave between 6/1/03 and 1/1/04. The tax guy will give the exact date.. Probably not interested in anything bigger than about 32'. Thats even more that is comfortable for one person to handle but anything less than 26' just does not cut the rough water especially more than 20 mi offshore-- too long to trek back if the weather is coming from shore... I live in Oh. Not particularly fond of winter but like the defined change of season,,, Condos north of MB SC are inexpensive enough to let sit most of the year and be used to beat the worst of winter but the summers in the south are worse than the winters here IMO. Plus-- there are too many old people dying down there every day,,<ggggg>. I have recently bought Chase, City, ONE, & MER. That took care of the big ones and bought FRBAX for the regionals. Nothing wrong with Fidelity but the few funds I buy are usually through Seligman, Alliance or Franklin. I also got into EMHSX weeks ago at my brokers rec-- good move. I like the Seligman Select Funds the best but the $10K min on most is a bit steep (Alliance has that min too). The Seligman New Technology Fund was purchased 7/30/99 and closed yesterday up 76%,, not bad in a crappy mkt. |
