A question for anyone. When we see open interest in an option, either a call or a put, that open interest is a combination of investors who have opened contracts to buy and opened contracts to sell. Is there a source of data that will tell us whether the net open interest is on the buy side or sell side? It seems to me this is an important piece of information that is not readily available. Again, anyone???

TIA,

Sam
