> Maria Bartiroma said motorola news proves that SSB analyst(Joseph) was correct in his call that the semi cycle was over.

My only response to above comment is:

1) Would SSB fire Johnatahn Joseph when he is proven to be totally wrong at the end of Q3? If not would they be even willing to cut a good chunk of his undeserved salary and bonus for the year? And if not would they at least be willing to issue a statement saying: "We are sorry. We made an error. And we certainly hope not too many little guys on the street - wall street that is - are too upset with us?"

2) Would CNBC - and in particular Ms. Bartiroma - issue a statement saying "We were wrong in our assumption that SSB analyst was right. We definitely not only made an ass out of ourselves, but did make an ass out of you all viewers as well."

3) And finally what would the moral of the whole episode be when this is all over? Would anyone learn anything from it? WOuld SSB analyst - and other so called charlatans of the wall street disguised under the fancy name analyst - stop their maniuplation of mass investment community? Would CNBC stop trying to make these charlatans into celebrities?

I may not know the full answer to #1 and #2 above, but I will definitely know the answer to #3, and in the words of the popular show Who wants to be a millionair the final answer to question #3 above is a definite NO as the cycle will continue. After all the objective of the game for CNBC and these modern charlatans of the Wall Street known as Analyst is to become millionairs and make a quick buck at any cost!
