RE:"I thought Hot Rail gave up because of 1. Delays and 2. Market Size."

Well, all I've heard for years is....
Business market is where the margins are and Intel owns the business market...
OK, so then...we hear...
When AMD gets the K6-3 out then they will penetrate the business market....K6-3 came out..business market didn't happen...
Then we heard...Now that AMD has the Athlon which is rock stable...they will penetrate the business market...
well, it ain't happened yet...
Sounds to me like there are some other keys to the vault that AMD should be looking at.

At the same time we hear, SMP chipsets will allow Athlon to penetrate the server market (business related I suspect) and bask in Xeon like margins.
So we wait, no SMP chipset. No business market again.

Now you tell me that HotRail quit because of Market size...?
How big is this coveted server market anyway?
Apparently AMD needs to get more market share in this area but either it's hopeless or it's not a top priority?
