Hi RR:

Scratching my head a bit on NTAP. Went down further than I expected. Maybe its partly due to the dip some stocks take just before earnings run.... I'll think positive.

In last week or so, (1) EMC announced they are reshuffling their sales org to take NAS leadership away from NTAP (6-9 months ago, the same people were saying NTAP was beneath their notice), and (2) CPQ announced they are going to be NAS leader in a year.

Suggest buying more NTAP. :-) :-)

Earnings are after close Monday 8/14. Assuming a sizable tech dip this week into and after CSCO earnings (same script as August 1999), then there should be a nice NTAP gain from there into and past earnings. Lots of (very) short term, medium term, and long term option plays on a quality but volatile stock. IMHO.
