Your pedigree in better than mine. :-)) (don't take that as a "slam" because it is not meant as that) I have never seen a "formal" study on this and probably should have put a disclaimer on my statement. (i.e. Based on "my" trading experience the odds are better than 9 to 1 that a gap of "that size" will be filled) The way I keep score is with $'s. But I will be glad to supply you with a list of stocks that have gapped up more than 8% (or any % you would like) and let you judge for youself. Monty
