I take it you have not been doing so well lately.

Why not stop trading for a while? Put the money somewhere safer and take 6 months to do some learning. If you are going to try to learn TA, then I think that it is reasonable to expect that it will take 6 months before you know enough to apply the skills in any meaningful/profitable way.

Only the most stubborn clown can not see that technology is in a whipsaw or, more likely, a bear market. Trying to catch profitable trades in these conditions is much harder. Many past geniuses will get wiped out and most others will suffer some very tough love.

DecisionPoint is a great site, but I do not think it is particularly suited to the novice. I use it more as a reference site. They have some good charts, but studying them without the proper background is probably fruitless.

This is not the time to be looking for long opportunities. Better buying opportunities lie ahead -g-.

Start by taking a week off to read "Trading For A Living" by Elder.
