Allan, thanks for the input. I am long (clownish :-)), but haven't done many trades. As I am long some mid caps but mainly small caps, therefore my interest is in how market breadth changed over the past 5 yrs. I am not interested in any recent data in particular. BGR's suggestion that the indexed funds will do well over the longer term is of interest to me...not that I necessary believe him just yet. pearly.
