A very good question.. I also think Lieberman is a decent guy. But he always touts the party line no matter what. If he gets picked as the running mate the Republicans can just run ads showing parts of his oratory from the Senate floor during the impeachment vote. He blasts Clinton. Then in the same ad show AlGore praising Clinton as the greatest President ever.

I listen to Tom.. I've known him since I was a kid.. He and my older brother were buddies during High School. His Dad was a Home inspector and inspected many properties for me.

I'm not going to tank Shays over one vote. His reasoning was sound for voting against impeachment. If Clinton was removed from office we'd be running against President AlGore instead of Vice President AlGore. I think we'd have a lot more trouble if that were the case.

I may be wrong but, what the hey...-ggg-
