But it DOES effect earnings per share....Right or wrong.??? Right, but it doesn't effect analyst expectations - to me it seems similar to a stock split and that is all... actually not even that, because the preferred shares existed before. Like I said I thought there would be a reaction too but there was not. The news was all over the wires, yahoo etc. by market open so it should have taken the hit friday. This stock isn't trading on financials anyway. Its all the promise of the wireless web and nuance as a pureplay (and potential standard) core technology provider. I agree with you its hugely overvalued.
