Sure some herd people see through and position themselves alongside the manipulators and make money, but by and large herds go to slaughter." You certainly have a different way of looking at it. TA has nothing to do with manipulation. It's just analysis based on price movement which is very psycologically based. Naysayers seem to say it has no predictive power. I think they are looking for tomorrows lotto numbers today... Predicting the future has to be based on probabilities by default...you look at the past and present and make a guess about the future...same as fundamental analysis. General market works the same way...you look at more hikes and the past tells you the economy will slow... Then again.... If fundamentals of say AMD were all that is needed to predict it's price then why is the stock not on a beeline to the sky? SO you use all the tools at your disposal. Jim Jim
