the manipulators can take their positions, sure in their belief that the herd will act as told and make them a profit.

Bill, excellent characterization. Monty, who so vehemently protested the posting of an older post of his on this thread, has now become a frequent author on that same thread, and on the very same topic. Could it be that he is trying to make a herd of its readers?
